I was actually pretty keen on purchasing this. Today I'm building a payment page. I don't mind paying for something good that will save me time. But it doesn't look like you provide an uncompressed version for review. I can&#

Absolutely. IMO it would hurt the rest of the world more. However I don't think it is unreasonable to start thinking about this as a possible solution. This would be a drastic action but its severity is matched by the issue at hand.

Cut the cables. The USA should be kicked off the internet. They've proven they can't be trusted. It is irresponsible on behalf of the rest of the world to allow this behavior to continue. Maybe after US businesses have experienced

The problem with having healthcare under private enterprise is that these healthcare providers do not operate under the free market conditions we assume they do. There is no "perfect information" allowing consumers to choose the c

The problem is the SF City gov. They are destroying everything they want to protect about the city by restricting housing developments.

Does Deis implement zero downtime deploys and safeguards against failed deploys? I can't see anything on the site on how this is handled.

Hours worked is irrelevant. The lifestyle afforded by $21,480 a year is terrible. That's barely enough to support a single person let alone a spouse/family. This means that 40% of the workforce are most likely dependent on someone

I think it would be very easy for the NSA to obtain the private keys to SSL of popular sites, eg Facebook, Gmail. Either through coercion or hacking.

It's probably a pre-receive hook. That's how Dokku works. It's easier to abort the deploy this way.

It may be a boom compared to historical levels but it is in no way enough. 22,000 is tiny! There's probably already a shortage of half a million. Think about how many people live outside the city because rent is too expensive. SF is a

I presume you are a founder. There are a lot of people who disagree with you. It would do you well to reflect on why. If these are your thoughts on founders and early employees I can't see you attracting and retaining the best talent.

It is important to view your product from a holistic/macro perspective. With all the various metric tracking available it's easy to derail your product's focus by optimizing features rather than the product.

Of course the FBI has been doing this and I don't actually have a problem with it. Matching data between established government agency databases seems like a smart thing to do. This is VERY different from what the NSA has been doing. N

Not excusing the collection of private information, I would be interested in knowing the extent of the analysis done with the data.

I don't see AI leading the reduction jobs available to knowledge workers for a while yet. Though knowledge workers will continue to loose their jobs. But this will simply be the result of specialized software (not what I call AI).
