This is pretty amazing. I remember the first computer I installed Linux 1.x on had 12 megs of ram in around 1992 or 1993? The smallest system I built/ran it on even back then was probably a 386 with 4MB of ram and it was so slow. Kind

This is intriguing, can you describe in more detail how you map a series of numbers to a shape/sound? like is 1234 a slope / ?

I think the urls in that repo are just short url services. You need to provide IOC (indicators of compromise) files in a specific format and it will check any short urls to expand them out and compare against the provided list. https:&#x2F

I somewhat miss the novelty of the 3d camera+screen on my old HTC android phone. It's a fun nice-to-have but there wasn't enough media that worked with it except what you recorded, which also wasn't the best thing to watch in

Didn’t catch that. I searched for interference. Good to hear this is on their minds.

I’m surprised nobody has suggested that these phenomenon could be an advanced electronic interference platform and that they may be able to interfere with the computing systems of multiple remote sensing systems at once.

I don’t understand. In fast moving small companies (<150) employees this sounds absurd. Are you talking about different companies? Can you maybe give me an example, or something concrete to root your statement in?

This happens in the Bay Area for a similar but different reason, the promise that you’re on a rocket ship that is pre-initial exit can hold folks tight with sub dollar stock options that promise to 20-30x in value if you win the lottery. Sm

I’m sure most people would prefer vaccines, but herpes is a commonly medicated virus lacking in vaccination availability.

Yes, I take it as a given that they could transmit the virus, and the vaccine only protected them from experiencing worse symptoms, but I do not know the research on the transmissibility based on vaccination, so don't take my opinion i

I’d love to know what it looks like now. I knew a few folks doing a lot of GPU work, but so many old folks still making charts and figures in IDL, myself included.

Wow what a throwback. I used IDL when I worked in astrophysics, and I loved it. It had a lot of fun capabilities and was super easy to build C libraries for. Back then there was also an attempt at making GDL (gnu data language), but the too
