Normally coworkers are excited to update and get new features. This time everyone was talking about how much they didn't want to, and how scared they were. Then the bugs and issues were a solid month of sadness, very rough release for

Most that I talk to do - but it's similar to how they care about the national debt. There's nothing they can do, they have no realistic expertise or control, and they vote with what - dollars once every phone purchase?

Huh? If we're reading from disk, then we DEFINITELY don't want radix, as then it's almost guaranteed that all time will be dominated by loading pages rather than cpu cache locality being leveraged by linear time algorithms -

In this case centralization is the usability, just like AOL centralized internet access options for users? Maybe you're unfamiliar with AOL in the beginning but it was largely a walled garden that happened to have a web browser.

Sure, but what about in 1992? How much did you need to understand about TCP/IP when you got AOL? Very little. And what happened when you got online? You could communicate online, suddenly reaching millions and then billions of humans.

Hypothetically they'd get rid of a lot of welfare programs and just institute a negative tax, which has a smooth curve upwards. More money always means you make more, just maybe not linearly. UBI can do this too - it's not clear t
