Also, you become a better programmer if you write duplicate code and then learn how to abstract it for cases that make sense. I also don't believe that dupe code is always a bad thing. Like everything else in software engineering, IT D

"BEFORE a developer accidentally drops a table?" Ideally, you don't want developer(s) to have access to destruct data especially things like DROP. Now, a lot of small businesses may not have the resource to have separate DBAs

I don't have an issue with AI as it is very useful in specific cases. However my issue is that it now has become the new gold rush, the new Crypto and has attracted way too many opportunists and get rich quickers who are starting a new

You can have this conversation: You: Ok recruiter, is there a budget/range set aside for this position ? Recruiter: Yes it is $x-$y You: Ok I can work with that. My expectation is ideally $x+ z% <= $y OR "Sorry that won't

Don't think of Brain Drain as a lose lose situation. Lot of Indians who leave India contribute in many ways and in fact bring tons of knowledge and skills from the global world back to India (even if they don't live there physical

I don't quite like it but namecheap has one of the best customer support and just for that, I don't mind paying the extra. It is price of 1 or 2 starbucks coffee anyway.

Most code is written to make money. Frameworks make it easy to not only start a project but run it for a long time with fast time to market. I agree that if it was just about writing nice code, libraries are good but if you want to make mon

I understand and sympathize. Here is my suggestions on what you could do next: 1. Whoever churns, ask them manually on WHY. Offer them a discount if price is the issue. If it's functionality, then start capturing that information. You

Yes and again, that is because of our system which requires Health Insurance. Those people at the front desk are low level hires who only understand how to ask for your Insurance card before they can do anything. When you throw the "ca

Medical Billing issues are a symptom. The real cause is Middle Man Mafia Insurance companies dictating everything that happens b/w a Doctor and Patient.

And don't forget the cost of health Insurance for the actual consumers including Premiums, Deductible, Co-Pays, Co-Insurance and all the other nonsense.

Or imagine you had Car Insurance butting in everything including an Oil change and dictating which shop you can use for the oil change. I bet it won't be a $20-$30 oil change anymore and your premiums will be much higher than it alread

It always is the "Insurer". The middle man mafia that has no reason to exist between a Doctor and Patient except for Catastrophic situations as all insurance should be. But not in America. We pay a heavy price for that.
