Wow, this is kind of the beginning of the end of these platforms having essentially unlimited immunity from the content they host. I am of two minds on this - on one hand, do we really want Meta, a knowing producer of wildly attention-addic

Funnny, I am the other side of this coin. I am a founder specializing in product and marketing but I don’t write code. Having now scaled up from zero customers to 100+ I can tell you the main things I see people get wrong: -talking too much

I watched the video, it was pretty clear he was trying to get arrested (or at least didn’t care). There are many YouTube channnels that are just completely immoral, trading anti-social behavior for views/ad revenue. The money from that

I bought a car on vroom. The experience was pretty good. Also have used Carvana. It does seem like an enormously expensive, probably low margin business. Shift.com similarly went bankrupt late last year. My assumption is that market leader

True that you learn as you go. Also true that motives change - the world in 2024 looks very different to the world in 2020. Founders adapt, bring on new investors, find new ways to create value. In regards to intent, I am not suggesting tha

I have no personal information on this matter, this is pure speculation. I agree that the original intent was to do as you say. But the recent actions suggest that new motives may be in play. Clearly Eric is a very intelligent person. I fin

I did not have Pm fit. Not sure I do yet either, but that’s hasn’t stopped me from acquiring customers. It’s helped me narrow down who my audience actually is. Even if someone signs up and the cancels, that’s still valuable information. At

My take on this whole thing is that this is basically an elaborate plan to eventually use this in court against Apple to prove its anti-competitive practices. If not for court, then at the least this is a press strategy orchestrated by some

I use Facebook ads. Before everyone goes “I tried that and it didn’t work” let me assure you that (done correctly) it’s highly effective. Current CAC of $80 which is paid back month 2. Went from 0-150 customers this way.

The article doesn’t actually do a very good job of explaining why the front end changes are “manipulated”, when the manufacturers can satisfy 4/5 requirements. From the article: To be classified an off-road vehicle, a car doesn’t actu

As a Santa Cruz homeowner, I wholly support building more and making Santa Cruz more affordable. It's incredible how expensive it is to live here - renting or buying. I'd love to see more young people and young families be able to

Have you/do you live in SF? I have had my fair share of horrifying experiences in SF that were a lot more serious than a panhandler. And I think others would agree.

People who are unable to increase their incomes enough to own assets will always be behind those who can. Is it fair? Not really. Is it a fact? Yes.

This is a personal choice, not economic policy. No one is forcing anyone to become owners of assets, but in practice anyone (even the poor) can become asset owners, as assets can be more than just a home. Putting $30/mo into financial
