I cancelled my NHL.tv subscription because they subjected me to team/region blackouts despite _literally living in another continent_. Was a total waste of money - it could have been great.

Well then it's still exactly the same? You can either press fn or change your preferences. You opted for the latter. Do that again?

If you're using a MBP at the moment - then you're already pressing the fn key to use the functions keys for anything other than the media-stuff they've been designed around for years. Your workflow is exactly the same - you

3 * 7 = 21 != 40 3 * 5 = 15 != 40 So why do you use the '3 hours of work then slack off' example to deride people working a typical week?

Yep. I'm a freelance developer and I bought a new MBP. I don't mind a soft-key function row, and I'm kinda curious what people can do with it. I don't need an SD card slot. Losing Magsafe, 16GB top-out on the RAM are dis

Cycling in the morning does it for me. I feel like a totally different person when I skip the cycle and get public transport. Even if it's as short as ~2 miles to where I'm going, I find getting the body going before the mind help

Pretty standard practice in accounting + book keeping. You'll see pretty much all balance sheets represented in this way.

That's exactly what they do. It's heavily based on performance evals. I remember the first year I was there, we were told it'd be around an 8% cut. Our team lost exactly that 8% in headcount.

Did you read the article? It's a police blog - and has a list of things to consider doing when letting a place on AirBnB et al. Doesn't at all appear to be what you think it is. Certainly not just a 'new article'.

Healthy food does have something to do with the amount of calories it contains. It's not the be-all or end-all, but if you're consuming less than you use, you'll lose weight. Weight is by far one of the largest risk factors

The 'all the time' part of my statement was quite an important bit. Sure, ARAM exists - but like I said there's an always-changing array of free champions, so it's not like you'll never get them. And again - if you&

In Scotland, most* Degrees are 4-year courses. *technically, the 4th is an 'honours' year, and you can graduate without honours after 3 years. This isn't that common for people who aren't struggling.
