This strikes me as pretty childish. If it had read more like "I left because I was frustrated with code quality", and actually took ownership of the feeling, that'd have made a big difference. It reads more like "i left

I've had similar experiences in my dealings with ADHD. I've found resources like khan academy and 3b1b to be miraculous in helping me stay engaged. or atleast letting me rewind and watch multiple times. w.r.t. books on programmi

There's no evidence that they actually help people that don't have adhd. it'll just make them _feel_ like they're doing better, in spite of any objective measure.

For context, I say it to myself because of my severe adhd. It's quite frequently the case that I'm inclined to not do anything at all...in which case, I use it as a mantra to help me just get something done. e.g., it's bette

I love jetbrains' products, but I really miss the days where intellij ultimate was essentially an all-in-one release. I'm in a polyglot environment, and it's frustrating to jump from editor to editor.

I understand the distaste for the stiffness of descriptive names...but I've found that over time trying to explain why a project has a clever name, or what it really does, to be quite arduous. And usually not too long after I've c
