I know my view will be affected by the UK being generally a small country... most people aren't driving 200+ miles a day, which means 90% of charging will be at home. Driving longer that 200 miles means you probably want a decent break

just to be the person ... > AI Mode feels cleaner and more useful because it skips the clutter Google’s own algorithm helped create. I dont think this one can be blamed solely on google. SEO has been gaming pure "best results"

lots of the comments here focus on freelancing vs perm. Organisations of all shapes and sizes make irrational choices like this all the time. RTO - overwhelmingly unpopular with the workforce, with seemingly no tangible upside, being enforc

I have not found the air fryer to cook in the same way as my toaster. The AirFryer is essentially still an oven (at least mine is) with the heat coming predominantly from the top, leading to some form of "double baked" bread, whic

can this be handled by a "shortcut" ? more config I know, but there are essentially CRON triggers that could be used to upload new photos to some external system maybe?

I bought a Retro Gameboy for my kids this year specifically to avoid all that non-sense. Turns out that Mario & Tetris & bomber man etc are just as fun to a kid now as they were in the 80's

You can. I took my 13mini to Apple paid the Apple tax and now I’m happy to not be forced into a uncomfortably larger physical device for at least mother year or two

Just an angle to think about. (im a SWE con the UK, lived in Manchester for 10 years (chrolton area) and also negotiating that 100K problem) 1) over 100K you also loose child benefits like free childcare for 2year old etc 2) What about taki

Yes man, Danny Wallace. Don’t take it’s comedy approach wrongly, I think a lot of folks could improve their happiness by reading and internalising this book.

I had one of those “don’t ask don’t tell” arrangements. Works fine until the top CEO mandates more and more and the middle manager can’t “hide” you any longer. (Personal experience) Probably a good move on your part

My Guess is they will push hard into the hardware side with more of a "Managed service" offering as well. A Proposition of the benefits of this open source ultra compatible ecosystem without the drawback of running your own server

The coding bot can be used by me to make more money / work less. I dont think WAME are giving the AI voice acting bot to the original voice actor so he can put it to work making money are they ?

As a parent I have looked into this precisely because there is so much autogenerated crap. With some form of AI by my side I can author my own content to a (hopefully and subjectively) higher standard. I can tailor stories to my Childs life

I would have expected that the small pool wouldn't get into the hosting game, its more that they allow use of their space in exchange for heat. Then Deep Green amalgamate these DC's into a cloud and do the part of finding customer

Not that I’m particularly defending RTO. But specifically on the daycare thing. No. They offer you a large salary and let you choose and organise what works for you. Not deciding for you and staffing some daycare as an afterthought on the 3
