I already don't like how you constantly push your product on HN, but now you're acting like an entitled asshole to boot. Maybe chill out and don't attack possible users?

Yes, until the government passes new laws which reduce those protections and allow the use of this data for other things. It's really great you built in decent protections, but that doesn't mean they'll always be in place. Us

I wonder if you could position posts or boxes (some physical object) with "weird" shapes that could be used as fixed, recognizable points for this sort of thing? So when your sensor picks it up, it's easy to immediately know

I would like to see some sources like this that are language agnostic that give you the tools needed to implement your own popular tool. For example, where could I look to find a written description of the way git works from the ground up?

You are saying an 80-85% loss isn't brutal? Man, bitcoin people are way tougher than I am, because losing that much value in my investments would make me want to die. I only lost like 15-20% during the 2008 crash and recovered that and

Yea, and capex is the hardest nut to crack since it requires investors that want to make a profit sooner rather than later. I love nuclear, but it's not a realistic resource at this time. All the downvotes in the world won't make

It depends on the cost, honestly. If the cost is too high, no utility will continue to run those plants. I agree with you, but the reality is that finance runs everything these days.

I would seriously like to hear from you folks why you disagree with my statement above, please comment. I have a feeling it's either rabid pro-nuke folks (I was a nuclear technician in the Navy, so I am also pro-nuke) or the pro-oil fo

Nuclear isn't built because it isn't financially viable. I'd love to see more nuclear, but it just isn't going to happen anytime soon. Maybe if we added a carbon tax that was reasonable considering the climate emergency

I'm starting to think something like flatpak or snap is necessary, but in a more sandboxed way, to enforce on the user level that certain apps won't have access to certain files. I would like to see options to fully sandbox an app

Probably more like "better tolerances" or something like that. The labor/time put into a cable is the most pricey part, raw materials are probably only a few cents, even if you double the copper into it.
