I haven't used Windows for many years at this point but, back when I did, my taskbar lived on the left (and was set to auto-hide). If I was still on Windows now then losing the ability to move it would be very jarring for me.

I'm not quite clear what you mean by "sharing a single queue between services". If you mean having multiple different services reading from the same queue then no, I wouldn't do that. If you mean having a sending service

A commit message should ideally describe the intent of the commit. You can read the diff to discover how it was accomplished. They serve different purposes.
