Which implies that they know how economics work. I can't say how unbiased this [0] comic is, but I feel like it does a really good job putting TPP in perspective. [0] http://economixcomix.com/home/tpp/

Which is also probably why the video stops before the debris reaches the operator. The footage being buffered was lost when the shock wave hit. That was a massive explosion and tonight we'll see the true extent of the damage.

This is why I haven't been able to update my Yahoo account in several years. I keep sending them bugs about it, but no one has fixed it yet.

So to conflict with Intranet sites? Bad idea in my opinion. I already use lots of one word Intranet sites at work. If http://pizza were public you'd have to have some way to distinguish between the local site and the extern

It's a fine line for sure. I recently recommended ChromeOS for my mother. Her problem is that she runs programs that compromise her OS. The malware I've removed from my parent's computer is hugely invasive and it is usually t

Is it harder to move to a different browser in Windows 10? I feel like you keep emphasizing how easy it is to change your browser and yet are still registering a complaint. I'm not sure what you are complaining about.

Aviation in itself is not inherently dangerous. But to an even greater degree than the sea, it is terribly unforgiving of any carelessness, incapacity or neglect. ? Captain A. G. Lamplugh

I think I had a printed copy of this in a binder. I had messed around with map making from Wolf3D to Quake, but Doom was a great balance between simple yet powerful tools, and complex map design. My favorite map I made has a room surrounded

You're making incredible judgements about an individual who clearly spends the time to learn how to be a responsible gun owner. What you're equating is someone who says they know karate because they watch a lot of kung fu movies.

I really liked my Sharp with ATRAC 2.5. I guess I still like it, but I honestly haven't used my MiniDisc player in probably a decade. MP3 at 320 kbps could encode higher fidelity, but when MiniDisc was popular (sic.) most MP3s were rec

There are things that can be measured, like frequency response and accuracy of the audio reproduction. Of course, how something feels when worn is subjective. I think an article that focuses solely on how a product looks, feels, and sounds

To implement the hash table you wouldn't have to hash the whole string... of course this will depend on the data that you are trying to store. Assuming that the data is random, 100 bytes vs. 100 terabytes, you only need to figure out w

For the Pong and Snake games, the code that is written is a bootstrap to read values from the controllers and write them to memory. Then it jumps to those routines. It uses similar techniques to write code to different locations of memory,

Hi Terry, TempleOS has some really interesting concepts. I'm not sure what it has to do with this topic though. FILE_ID.DIZ is used for archives and not single files, and is used to provide metadata for the contents of the archive. Sav

I'd just love to see this work well with a proper SCIP plugin on Windows. MIT/GNU Scheme sort of works on Windows, but you can't integrate it with EMACS. Dr. Racket comes closer, but the libraries have been moved from (or to,

Which always surprises me. How is it that something as reactive as water, and as important as it is to our biology, that we don't have sensory mechanisms to locate it? It doesn't even have a smell.
