JRO UP? As in pulling in a value from the up port. I didn't see how that gives me a whole lot since wouldn't I need to know in the other node what the offset would be? I considered that this would be valid, but I couldn't see

I think the message network misses one of the benefits of this architecture, and that is non-blocking execution at each node. As each node possesses it's own memory for instructions, it only blocks when it is in a read, waiting for ano

I/O would take 48 pins with 11 bidirectional pins per port to hold the word and 1 latch pin to release. The ISA would only require 4 bits to select an instruction. The ALU wouldn't be too complicated and there are only direct memo

Google has provided cloud app storage for quite some time now and I believe with M they even said that they are doing full restores including the APK. The real issue as I understand it is that developers haven't taken advantage of all

I actually pitched that idea to Rob Pike regarding a future for Go. I think that having an environment shell like that, baked into ChromeOS, would both promote the OS and the language. He didn't seem all that impressed, but TempleOS is

So sad to see Pipes go! I absolutely love Pipes and was just raving about it to a coworker this week. Terrific UI and a fantastic idea. When development fizzled out, I tried to find another service as a replacement, but everything I've

Are you not making an assumption about your own code then? The strength of open software is that you don't have to rely on one person to have solved everything. I consider myself to be a good developer, better than most for some areas,

You can see people trying to do that just to rise across the stage. It may be similar, but I'm pretty sure the mechanics are just different enough.

He was never charged with that. I think the JD held those charges back so they had something else to their at him if this first trial didn't go their way. As such, the sentencing should only be about what he is charged and found guilty

This has been discussed as the first step for wide acceptance of driverless cars. As a personal valet at a mall for instance, large public lots could be prepared in a way that makes navigation for driverless cars easier. There could be a dr

Most people only need Home. That changes when you need to log into an Active Directory, but suffices for most personal use. This differentiation allows Microsoft to sell two different SKUs and makes Windows more cost effective for 90% of ho

For installing, don't forget about Nuget. Use Chocolatey today and although I don't know what the Windows 10 system will be called, they've already announced an OS system based on that tech.

Instead of Growl, consider Snarl. I found that it works as well, if not better, and is actively developed, where Growl seems to have stagnated. Growl also hijacks an important Emacs hotkey. Personally I'd like to see Snarl/Growl i

Control and cost. PWM motors can control their rotation very precisely unlike IC motors. That is one reason you see multicopter designs nowadays. You can quickly alter the torque. I didn't see how this design alters pitch or roll, but
