The D Programming language has a neat trick to block commenting out code for debugging purposes. Wrapping code in a version(none) {} block will exclude the block from compilation. The code inside the block must still be syntactically valid

I found C++ very complex and difficult to work with, though it is very powerful in terms of performance. There is also several years of libraries available in C++ that is difficult to leave behind. If you are looking for something like C++

It happens to me occasionally (I'm male). Unless I'm making a conscious effort my face normally looks sad or down and people tell me to smile or cheer up. It really annoys me when they do that too.
