Perhaps the author just doesn't understand the difference between managers and leaders? (many people don't) https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Naz6pvFqGfk/VQ2JxTNg0UI/AAAAAAAAH...

Aren't you missing LinkedIn on your list? We get way more views on LinkedIn than on relevant Reddit communities for instance (we are a robotics SaaS startup).

There are two types of AVs: perfect ones and real ones. The perfect ones never ever collide with anything even when it is thrown at them, while real ones save lives but get banned by regulators.

Agreed. Why do people keep pretending that robots are anyhow more sentient than other types of automation? They aren't! They are just as dumb instruction followers as your average conveyor belt, just that the instructions might be a bi

So many mistakes! a) What you describe is the VC industry, not YC. b) Yes, it's a well known fact that the expected value (in $$$) of doing a startup is less than that of being an employee, so don't do it for the money; and c) mos

I would: 1 Start learning about ROS, 1a run some basic tutorials, 1b run a virtual robot in Gazebo (simulator); 2 Buy one of those raspberry pi based robot kits; 3 Buy an intel d435 3d camera (if you can afford it); 4 repeat what you did in
