Single sign-on support is essential for me. If this was compatible with Keycloak/OIDC it would solve a lot of problems. I will be keeping a close eye on this project.

I was very impressed by the build script. It worked flawlessly, detecting Clang and Ninja, and pulled in all the dependencies automatically. I am hopefully that this will develop into a serious competitor as there really should be more than

This is my attempt in Rust. I am not a Rust programmer so it is probably horribly inefficient, but it works! https://gist.github.com/Chaz6/81523edaed6f31aa609daa919ff6b8...

This paper seems relevant. It describes a new CT log with additional revocation transparency . https://eprint.iacr.org/2021/818.pdf For it to be useful, I imagine clients would need to query some central service every

The problem with using braille characters is the spacing which leaves to uneven distribution of "pixels". This could be improved by using octants, which will be included in Unicode 16. https://www.unicode.org/chart

I have run into this, and I got tipped off by the very specific session timeout that was set on the firewall. The session would come up and work for around 30 seconds, then stop. The outbound packets were going to the firewall but being ret

As new ISP's and enterprises start up who cannot obtain legacy IPv4 address space, there are going to be more and more people who will not be able to access an IPv4-only resource without using some form of tunnel.

One alternative is to sign the checksums using a PGP key, though that does raise the issue of how to know if the key has been compromised or not.

I used to work at National Grid, and we had a non-parametric mixture model developed by some very smart quants. It was used to predict gas escapes, and would take into account the current SLA performance (aka the cost function) to predict h

Sadly in this country the establishment has a history of protecting those of a certain status in society. Even if there is a prosecution, it will likely be dragged out for so long that those culpable will die before a sentence is passed.

Do clients generally check for revocation for every cert in the chain? You would think you would definitely want to as a compromised root cert would be highly damaging!

It is not quite as simple. The ONT also maps services to ports. Take for instance an ONT with 4 ethernet ports and 1 FXO port. The FXO port can be mapped to a SIP service, and each ethernet port can be mapped to a different network service.

Before RPKI, any network on the internet could announce any prefix (e.g. 2001:630::/32) to any neighbour, whether they had the right to or not. With RPKI, the owner of the prefix has to authorize a network to announce the route, so thi
