Honest question, if someone is performing horribly, why do they deserve a severance package? Isn't that was unemployment insurance is for?

Were you able to collect unemployment? My understanding is the PIPs are to provide proof of "low performance" and that "low performance" can be used as an excuse for the company to not pay out unemployment insurance.

The lower economic classes are often less educated and may have government issued insurance, so they much more likely to just take the treatment recommendations.

So far, the only weakness I've found with Obsidian are the tables. Someone needs to build in a killer tables feature. Obsidian is an Electron app; it shouldn't be too hard to build a stripped down version of Google Sheets.
