I wonder how much the founders are making here. They just started this a few years ago and now it has sold for 60B.

When you have companies like SpaceX and Anthropic raising billions, it is hard to believe that private credit isn't virtually infinite.

Dead capital. There's no need for public funding until they are reasy to cash out at the top, if ever.

I don't doubt it. We had a massive edge on the internet for several decades. That's come to an end now. Somehow Western Europe squandered it though.

Good talent is still hard to find so that's not going to happen for large companies, but lots of startups are going in that direction.

I visited the Balkans recently. One thing that is very clear to me as a n American is that the rest of the world is catching up. English taught at a young age, internet access is easier than ever and in aome cases superior to US options. Li

Revenue, not profit. A lot of that is likely inflation. I suspect we'll see this pattern repeat quite a bit with the oncoming oil shock

How did they deal with non-competes? Are they in CA or somewhere those aren't enforceable?

I wonder what is driving this. I too sense that people are really guarded these days. For me, I work remotely and it's hard to build true rapport through Slack.

This is starting to become my latest pet peeve, people using Claude to write their messages in Slack. I'm going to just stop communicating via text with these people. It's one thing to have Claude polish a message and another thin

At lot of this isn't true in practice because we live in an async word. Perfect example is giving bad news. So much dancing verbal dancing around it when people really know the answer. The best team I've ever worked on had little

That comment is nice, but virtually meaningless as there's no way to enforce it, even if there were mods.

You don't go far enough, every flu season should be lockdown and social distancing protocol should be followed on pain of death.

Kith looks interesting, but the main problem there is verifiability. How would it keep bad actors out? How does it verify posts by invitees aren't AI generated?

Lol, 1 to 4 is just called "knowing how to drive". These cameras aren't a serious value add unless you're driving a massive tank, err car.

Shoutout to Adam Wathan and team. I rarely shell out any money, but Tailwind was an exception. They actually made front end development fun for me and added tons of value with their UI kit etc. Even though I rarely use it, I bought the life

When you're a hammer, everything starts to look like a nail. Good thing you were able to find a good alternative solution. I suspect a lot of ailments could be resolved with non-medical interventions, but there's little money to

I'm with you all the way. It's always much easier to strike up conversations with foreigners on my travels (or the locals) abroad than it is with people from the US, even when abroad. I was on vacation taking a tour when another A

It's only going to get worse from here. Everything is trending towards zero for any kind of online service as it gets easier to make software with LLMs. There just simply won't any moat left.

I've always disliked this advice because it's trite. It's often true at an individual level, yet in practice, I've never seen this work once more people are added to the equation.
