Were you able to collect unemployment?
My understanding is the PIPs are to provide proof of "low performance" and that "low performance" can be used as an excuse for the company to not pay out unemployment insurance.
- 1123581321 2y agoLaws vary by state, but you can almost always collect unemployment if fired for low performance. I’d be surprised if a company were to fight UI on those grounds.
