To help with some of the math required by general relativity, there's a good series on YouTube by the user "eigenchris" on tensor calculus, which I found helpful for a geometric intuition of what's going on. He also has

So in theory, there are still plenty of people writing 6502 assembly for a living? How crazy would it be to get paid for writing code for these things that I first messed around with when I was 10 years old via my C64.

[Somewhat offtopic] Speaking of Zig, I understand concurrent programming is undergoing a rethink of some sort as async has been temporarily removed? I am only following cutting-edge Zig peripherally so I am probably wrong here. Does anyone

Correct, I believe it originated with Microsoft via .Net in the mid-2000s and was picked up by the JS ecosystem much later. The fact that Microsoft had a hand in async/await’s emergence may influence how people feel about it.

This study details the protocol used, which has patients brace-free and fully weight-bearing at 15 weeks. There are exercises to minimize muscle wasting but yeah, some is unavoidable.

As a kid, I created games for my C64 using Garry Kitchen’s GameMaker: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Garry_Kitchen%27s_GameMaker I recall it working pretty well. You could define sprites and it had a scripting language.
