I also wouldn’t disregard the experience of university itself. I went the self-taught route, left school at 16, built a career for myself to get to where I am now at 24, but I do have regrets. Going into working in an office basically termi

I can completely empathise with that. I think a hard lesson I’ve had to learn at some point is that people just don’t want to debate or have hard conversations because it exerts mental effort. Most don’t have a drive to discover the “truth”

Until prompt injection is fixed, if it is ever, I am not plugging LLMs into anything. MCPs, IDEs, agents, forget it. I will stick with a simple prompt box when I have a question and do whatever with its output by hand after reading it.

But smartphones compacted several other devices you may want to carry and provided a bunch of other new capabilities. An AI device isn't bringing any new capabilities, you can already call an Uber or find local restaurants on your smar

Well done to Anthropic for having the courage to release an N+1 model. OpenAI seems so afraid of disappointing with GPT 5 that it will just release models with a number asymptotically approaching 5 forever, generating unnecessary confusion

I just don’t get what they could be making. Phones are already a perfected form factor for mobile computing. They have screens, microphones, cameras. Why would you need to reinvent form factor for an “AI computer”? And how will it compete f

Objectively flawed thinking needs to be nipped in the bud, because without resistance from people in real life, social media has free reign to strengthen it. Everybody has a firehose of propaganda they can consume any time of day. I’ve wat

I've been using this recently but there's many issues, and things that can only be tested remotely. In some cases I've had to guard steps if: ${{ !env.ACT }} so they don't run locally.

I had a look at the manuscript for a while and found it suspicious how tightly packed the writing was against the illustrations on some pages. In common language words and letters vary in width, so when you approach the end of the line when
