Doesn't seem particularly weird to me, I've seen more than that myself for an issue.

This confused me too, because the bottom few chips are always broken. Often the top chip or two as well. Lays usually are all whole for me, which I've found interesting.

Until you make a bunch of choices about "better" that are based on presumptions that are incorrect. Now you're just making things worse and filling yourself with a sense of accomplishment that puts you out of touch with real

Then you read the wiki article and see that "yes" is the most common answer when actually studied. So, good point. Zig must be a great C replacement.

I'm a potential user and had no clue. Not everyone keeps up with trends. In fact, if my coworkers (educators) are any indication, few people do. Even 2 sentences on this page would've helped a lot.

Can you expand on "very little effort". I think we may have very very different ideas of what that means.

OP mentioned things that exist now, your response seems to be that things are improving. Those ideas aren't at odds.

I'm no fan of Musk, but the tweet you linked does not say the response has been overblown. He's not incorrect in the tweet you linked: both cpf and mortality are currently overstated due to lack of testing and asymptomatic cases.

While I agree with this sentiment, not everyone's "right person" is someone you want always at your side.

You aren't wrong, but there's a nuance that I was trying to clarify on. Regarding the idea that you rarely see trades of uneven values: that is largely because positions where such complications are likely tend to be avoided by mo

A forced mate is _forced_. There are no options except to be mated. If there was a way to not be mated it'd be referred to as "Tactics" or just "A Combination". And further annoying pedantry: there's no points

To go a step further, no chess player younger than their 60s would use descriptive notation. Algebraic notation is the norm for anyone in the chess world. Bishop-D4 (bd4), Rook takes C5 (rxc5), h3 etc... would be used. Even older players th

That's not correct if utilizing terms that are common chess parlance. "Mate in..." implies that a mate will occur, with a forcing sequence, with the longest branch being the announced number of moves. Given that chess is not

I mistakenly did not see the whole OP comment when I replied. This was my fault as I'm unused to using HN on mobile and did not do my due diligence to see the full comment.

I'm not sure I agree with this. I always look for and at the 1 start reviews, and I find that to be more useful than reviews I find anywhere else. 4/5 star reviews are useless, but 2/1 star reviews reveal a great deal of usef

"Can do" is not particularly useful. You "can" sit there and sequence thousands of sine waves in audacity to create any sound that you want... but nobody wants to do that. Bitwig's grid is capable, but the ease of a

This seems unfair towards CIDER. Cider has excellent debugging, stacktrace navigation, integration with other tooling and more... that isn't available in Calva. I would never say that you can't use Calva to get work done, but CIDE
