For me it’s speed of development. I’m frankly not very good at SQL, but an ORM in a familiar syntax to the language I use most (Typescript) increases my dev speed tremendously. I also have a relatively successful saas that uses Prisma and i

Yep. I switched 95% of my car trips to bike trips, lost 15lbs I didn’t really know I needed to lose, and only want to go to the gym every few days (was almost an every day thing for me before). Not to mention that biking is just an absolute

It’s so easy to just mindlessly want and consume until you see pictures like these. They show that although my streets are pristine, with everyone having the latest “stuff”, it’s really only possible because we sweep all of the “bad stuff”

If you are going to talk about statistics then please cite the accident statistics of people using things like FSD vs. not... From the horse's mouth it appears using things like FSD is considerably safer than not[0]. While an independe

I had a really negative view on FSD from just reading and seeing stuff online until I finally decided to rent a Model Y on Turo with FSD...I was absolutely blown away. I drove it from Houston to Amarillo (600 miles) and had to touch the whe

I wish the article stated if the amount of cars traveling in the zone remained the same. I would think it probably greatly reduced the amount of traffic in that area, which all around just makes for a more pleasant experience being a pedest

Nope. As a very small team I'm unable to relax at all if I can't rely on our hosting. It looks like we're back, but this was the last straw for us.

Curious what your experience has been like and how seriously you take it. What do you do for work where you are able to not work on a screen? How do you communicate with family and friends? Etc…

For a week long trip I'll do a 24ish hour drive each way over a flight. Able to bring everything I want, have a car, easily bring the dogs. It's a win all around for me.

Blaming those emissions on companies is such an interesting shift of blame to me. Who do you think those companies serve and who consumes the end product of whatever they’re doing?
