Thanks for both your replies, yours and Ian's I've also known Telefonica engineers and they are some of the best. Maybe my bitterness against the behemoth clouded my words and I apologize for that. The problem, as Lance said, is t

I'm a Spaniard and can offer a bit of perspective: Firefox OS was doomed the day they partnered with Telefónica. It's a massive juggernaut which phagocytes every startup they touch, assimilate their talent, then destroy the rest.

It's impossible not to reference Snow Crash by Stephenson. I wonder how much "physical" damage can you deliver with an electronic message or image.

What an amount of negativity! This was clearly done as a DIY project, I love it! It's definitely not worth the time/money, but isn't that the definition of a hobby? I'm very happy for OP, I always enjoy checking out proj

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but isn't that what iOS does, where every app is sandboxed and can't access anything from others? Of course, there may be exploits derived from kernel/"supervisor" bugs, but all apps ar

If I understood it correctly, you're saying that RSA requires the two numbers to be big AND random, otherwise the algorithm isn't strong? Therefore Ed25519 is better because it's strong regardless of the key? What I don'

Nobody seemed to answer this question, and neither did the original blog post (besides "trust me and do it"), so maybe you can shed more light on the main point: Why are ED25519 keys better than RSA, how compatible are they with d

Wow, this is so old (1999) it's terrible. It recommends generating DSA keys. Interesting as a historic artefact, but please don't follow this guide, search for something more recent.

I just finished Snow Crash and found it too pretentious and convoluted, like the turn that Diamond Age does towards the ending. Besides that, it introduces a few interesting concepts, but I feel that similar ideas are developed much better
