Good! Best of luck, long overdue in the industry. QA, in particular, has a thankless and critical job.

Don't know why you are downvoted, you're 100% correct. Police do not exist to help individuals, they exist to maintain the state monopoly on violence and to protect capital. If individuals get any benefit from this it's eithe

You aren't rich, if a stolen car was a concern. Police forces were literally created to protect capital, and then back ported to supporting local communities. The parent poster is correct, police exist primarily to protect the interest

My dude, if you can't see your intolerance I'm certainly not going to be the one to help you. You've got some growing up to do.

Yep. Language is hard. Queer is absolutely a reclaimed slur, and comes with all that baggage, making it either political, fine, or too heavy depending on where you live. In general, I don't mind queer folks calling me queer, but I real

LGBT housing is safe for LGBT folks, particularly because it is either shared by or run by queer folks who are much less likely to discriminate or do violence against you because you are queer. Regular housing offers no such guarantees. May

You have a LOT more legal latitude in selecting a roommate than selecting a tenant. Landlords have limited ability to choose tenants, but you are free to choose what roommates you want.

Possibly. It's not uncommon for folks to use gay to mean queer/LGBTQ and unintentionally exclude folks. It's a holdover from earlier gay rights and gay liberation movements. The history there is complicated. You also see folk

Love it! Gay might not be the most inclusive label if you are aiming for LGBT folks (I'm queer but not gay), but hey, better to have this than not have this by a long ways!

I don't think you understand just how alienated and dangerous it is to be queer in America. There's a crisis in LGBTQ+ housing. Putting queer folks in with cishet folks puts the burden of educating those cishet folks on the should

In practice, yes, it's very common to use a shader to sample the texture with some rotation and noise. Most games have a shader level implementation to address this, and we've done that for a decade at least. See: https:/&#x

Sex exploitation happens from politicians, yes, but also cops, johns, pimps, traffickers, etc etc. The less legal sex work is, the more underground it needs to be. The more underground it is, the less recourse women have to address exploita

Alienation is a problem. But it's not a problem unique to food. Yes, it's very obvious in food, but I think what you are describing is a symptom, not a cause. Solve the causes of alienation, solve the food consumption problem.

Abundance sand availability of food isn't the problem so much as what we've done with that abundance. If we were producing cheap, plant based healthy meals with balanced nutrition at low cost, things would generally be fine.

You can elect to eat the same things every day if you want. There are inexpensive and really available foods that aren't incompatible with doing other stuff. You can make it pretty much automatic. Not quite as automatic as breathing,

It's myopic, though. Or perhaps not yet fully formed or juvenile. Food is so essential to how we as a species express ourselves. Does this person hate music too? What about works of fiction? Surely food is just as much a creative cultu

The idea that a woman can traffick herself if she is interested in doing sex work is nonsense. Sex work and sex exploitation are not the same thing. (Though I do not deny there exists exploitation in much of sex work.)

I found, in practice, that the divide and conquer approach led to weird altitude artifacts, where different divisions would result in different heights, so the point clouds didn't line up. Could have been a one off bug though.
