Partially related: Is anyone else bothered by the volume of negative reviews on Amazon that simply target an individual seller rather than the product? All instances of any product are covered by the same set of reviews, regardless who th

Citadel is one I know for sure is pretty cutting edge, and I'd wager their security can rival any large tech company.

If not a ruse, this is a dumb post that discredits itself and calls makefiles hacky, not noticing that they are used by many people for most native programming on most (unix type) platforms. I'm feeling cranky every day, but just today

You already found at least one. Also try anyone with a degree in computer science. I'd wager it's in most first year courses; it was in 3 of mine. Also you could consult anyone who spends a lot of time working on/programmi

Do so many people who go on this site not know how to make makefiles? Also why is it for hipsters? Or is the article for hipsters? Why does the author call his own published notes factually inaccurate? Why is it hacky to use a makefile?

I can attest to the truth in this statement: I have slept in the same bed as many people and have not sexually assaulted any of them.

This doesn't mean all financial institutions are bad at security. Some are cutting edge and hire some of the best.

Just the tech giants have the best security people? How about large banks, hedgefunds and other financial services, security contractors/private military and governments?

I suppose the age old Mac vs. PC vs. Quap debate contributed to the volatility of the scores of these posts.

I liked the presentation the most out of every aspect of the article. I don't think it's infantile. If anything, I see the author's tone, bias, and perspective as problematic, but I suppose this is also just as subjective, a

How do the bullet points in "Why does Go leave out those features?" address why Go leaves out the features on the preceding slide? All it talks about is clarity (important but not the only important thing) and I just don't se

I've noticed this feature, but it doesn't allow you to record audio with it too (mic or system sound). Am I missing something/is there a good way to do this?

I agree with your second point. Not being on Facebook affects none of my life, 'real' or not. And as far as I know, even those in my small friend group who are on Facebook don't really use it much. I don't think Facebo

Isn't it kinda ridiculous to believe your design should be the universal design for all apps? Their motivation makes it even worse in my opinion. It's something they should know, and we all know, will never happen. That's

Interesting. To me the car is the least free method of transport. I feel like I'm in jail. There are thousands of rules, stay between the lines, listen to all the signs, careful to not hit children, it's so much more stressful
