Having spent 9 years in the military, I can say with some confidence that even soldiers are not willing to fight a war. War is evil. No one looks forward to it (except the generals). But when its thrust upon you, you rise up to the occasion

'International' exists outside of EU. Actually most of the problems mentioned above belong to the vast majority of people outside the developed west.

Gandhi had a particular fascination with toileting. I read in a biography that the first question he'd ask anyone in the morning was 'Have you had your bowel movements yet?"

I thought Soundcloud would truly become the 'Youtube of Audio'. But it seems to be trying to do too many things. Right now, there is no place on the internet where I could search a keyword and find relevant podcasts about a topic.

Agreed, but do you reckon its worth the effort to ask system programmers whether or not they'd be willing to accept UX contributions?

Great idea, but I would've much preferred a mobile app for this, which could sync my contacts automatically, log my calls to each contact and let me enter notes. The desktop app seems good but seems like a lot of work for the user.

There is a cultural/ religious myth in the sub-continent that fresh, fast-flowing water is always safe to drink. This might have contributed to the failure of this leap.

There's a documentary on Netflix[0] that might explain why all the 'extra' sorties are needed. Provocation? Seeding? Who knows, but its an interesting connection. [0] http://dirtywars.org/shop/product

I like your sense of entitlement, but most of these devices are novelty stuff. You shouldn't expect your macbook or wifi router to not work 5% of the time, but I guess you could live a happy life with wireless speakers, light switches
