Sure, you still have your coins, but who cares if they’re worthless? I’m not sure “not your keys, not your wallet” is really the message to take away from ~Celcius~ ~Terra~ ~TAC~ FTX.

I think you're out by, um, 4 orders of magnitude? I'm reading your post as £51950/kg i.e. 50k a kilo. But actually your link puts the prices as a very respectable 519.5p a kilo i.e. roughly a fiver a kilo which is in the righ

Calling Ukraine "The Ukraine" is a Russian tactic to make Ukraine seem less like a country and more like a region. Quoting from wikipedia: > However, since Ukraine's declaration of independence in 1991, [calling Ukraine &q

I think it's so interesting and positive that Stable Diffusion has come out and absolutely destroyed DALL-E as a product. What are the best examples of DALL-E being integrated into a product? Are there any at all?

But surely the concept of loss leaders can't be problematic in itself? I have no problem with a supermarket subsidising the price of one product to get me in the door, for example.

Kind of, but doesn't that assume a linear utility function for holding eth which I think seems unrealistic? Plus, there are costs associated with holding eth (cold storage etc) which seem fixed, so its cheaper to securely stake 1 addit

Off-topic but have you got any recommendations on stuff to read to set up a GPU at home to run stable diffusion?

I don't understand this comment: "but staking 1eth is always staking 1eth". If I have 100 GPUs and I buy one more can't I turn around and say "But buying one more GPU is just buying one more GPU"? Even if your

They laid off 4% of staff, doesn't seem that drastic to me. I know a few people working there and they didn't seem too fazed, but I get that it's a big company and other divisions might be different. Doesn't take away fr

Wikipedia says that Dilithium exists when Lithium is in the gas phase i.e. not crystalline. So, CRYSTALS-Dilithium presumably refers to Dilithium Crystals which are often referred to in Star Trek.

Okay, cool, the majority of Dropbox users I know do not use the product because of speed or because of any IP agnosticism. It's a shame all these users are so stupid and don't use IPFS or bittorrent instead, amirite?

Right. I'll bite, how is Dropbox not a _real_ solution to a _real_ problem of "I want to share this file with someone else or somewhere else"? Hate to say it but I feel like the answer is going to involve "web3 fixes thi

That many other (EU) countries who have implemented the EUHR directive deport asylum seekers to other countries, and those countries SC equivalents have not found it to be illegal. I guess my legal basis is precedent.

Okay but we can agree that your point about there being no Act of Parliament is not relevant then. It being a matter for debate whether Rwanda is safe is, I think, not something the SC is going to rule on. It violating the Human Rights Act
