There are ample studies that show that porn use does increase rape. The results are mixed. Declaring that "current evidence" says otherwise is false. Update: See studies referenced at https://fightthenewdrug.org/

You absolutely can and should control your thoughts. It's not futile. It's not societies job to control anyone's thoughts (neither am I arguing that society should try--that sounds like pure evil), however it is each indivi

Its not backwards. It may be circular. They view it because they want to, but viewing it doesn't satisfy the craving long term. It reinforces it.

How can someone who likes viewing this look at a child on the street and not see them as a sexual object? The thoughts/fantasies you harbor while viewing images on a screen do not magically turn off when you step outside. It sticks wi

I don't know a single person using an 8+ year old phone. I'd guess 99% of the population makes a phone last 2-4 years.

The mental health issues our youth are facing have significant roots in smartphones/social media. The longer you can delay it without having your child be ostracized from their peers the better. Each child will likely need a differen

Not feeling comfortable could be question of time. You get comfortable when you go from kindergarten to 12th grade with the same kids. You know them well, because you've been in classes with a lot of them for 6-7 hours / day, 5

Optimism is (almost) always required in order to accomplish anything of significance. Those who lose it, aren't living up to their potential. I'm not encouraging the false belief that everything you do will work out. Instead I&#

My experience with Bard/ChatGPT has been that you'll easily shoot your foot off if you don't know what you're doing. Dangerous for workers with less experience. I see claims that it makes you 7-8x more effective. That

That isn't reality. You give up privacy all the time in exchange for things. And even with e2ee you don't "have" privacy guaranteed.

I've found I burn the popcorn often with this. Maybe just a lack of experience (we always had an air popper growing up). You can also use small amounts of butter (or I guess oil if you wanted) with the silicone popper or air popper.
