Currently, there is only 5 characters in the HN headline: "[]()+". Maybe a mod removed the "!" because they thought it was being used for emphasis. It could be placed before the "+".

The "they" could be AirBnB employees, but it was probably a reference to hackers breaking in and copying those files from AirBnB servers. The fewer servers that have a scanned copy of your passport, the better.

This patent is for side-to-side swinging. IANAL, but if they were doing the traditional forward-backward swinging they should be okay.

The code to call super is awkward. Instead of saying super(MyClass, self).foo(), I would rather just say super.foo(). Having to specify self or cls as the first argument of an instance or class method. This one is weird when you are learnin

It's not just an endless array of divs because then the grid lines would constantly be shifting (that is, unless your browser happens to scroll in increments that are exactly equal to the height of one of the cells).

It's funny how they think it's a problem of educating students about what isn't considered acceptable behavior. The students knew what they were doing, they just compared the probability of getting caught with the reward and made a decision
