Should be dated/tagged 2013 but none of this was new information even then...

I’ve been using Bulma a fair bit lately. I like it. But I’ve also just started using Tailwind too, it’s another level. One project I’m working on uses both which may get some frowns. Bulma is just quicker and easier for some things.

Agreed. Inkjet makes little sense. I’ve had a $60 (on sale) Brother laser printer for 10+ years. I finally had to buy new toner just this year. Still prints like the day I bought it.

I suppose if you’re already using an Android device, why not?

Why not both?

I use it daily and like using it but it will never leave my mind that it’s just shiny IRC.

The pupils are almost always a giveaway. Look closely. Harder to see on darker eyes though. Teeth, too if they are showing.

I don’t know that it’s comical, nor was the article really about human evolution. And there are other studies and evidence not based on early hominids showing that there is an upper limit on effectiveness dependent on group size.

I recently turned on my Vizio to see it had updated its firmware and I was forced to accept terms of use and privacy policies from both Vizio and Google before I could do anything else on the TV. It was essentially bricked unless I accepted

Sure, but is it trying 3 times per failed request or 100? Either way, it’s far too many requests.

It is ad/spam.

Speaking as a non-scientist, I too am intrigued.

There is a half-decent book that covers this in part ... I enjoyed it. “Priceless: The Myth of Fair Value (and How to Take Advantage of It)”

I’ve always liked this story and have been periodically checking the domain for many years. I recall reading the site updates as it was unfolding. Sad he died.

This is great. Thanks for sharing! Does anyone know of new works being written and released in installments this way? Through newspapers, magazines, blogs, etc?

My comment wasn’t on the book or the show’s relation to the book, just the Netflix series. Is it a good book/series?

The facts of the complaint are that Google, Bing, and Baidu are secretly running or maybe influencing Cloudflare and they purposely implemented a non-accessible captcha to inhibit the smaller crawlers ability to build their index ... no, I

Unfortunate. Though the second season wasn’t nearly as good as the first, so I get it.

I don’t even think this part of the article/blurb is true. Edit: I stand corrected, looks like Cloudflare recently moved to hCaptcha, which does not offer an “a11y” option.

The article has no substance at all. It’s like 150 words and just describes Cloudflare a bit and explains how captcha works. Not what I’m used to seeing on HN frontpage.

The man “rips you off the drugs” ... I suppose I was “on drugs” so being ripped off them as if it were a physical object would makes sense. No matter what I tried, the story just kept plodding along without taking much of my input into acco

This removes "New Toyotas" from my list of potential next vehicles, though it's likely just a matter of time before all new vehicles have a direct link with insurance companies.

How is it plausible? The division isn’t on state lines. It’s rural and urban areas. You have many “red” states with multiple “blue” cities in it. How would this work?
