Out of curiosity, how does one develop a few dozen food allergies in the space of a year? Is it some sort of auto-immune disorder?

Me too - I had a module on it in university and I ended up writing a music visualizer that hooks up to Ableton for my thesis. Really great introduction to programming.

Amazon already have DocumentDB which clones the Mongo API. I don't think its forked though, they just use a barely mongo compatible wrapper around their own db engine.

Terminal windows are built into Pycharm. They also automatically open with the project's virtualenv for each terminal instance which is great.

That was an incredible read, thanks for sharing. I've always had a real love for Bill Evans music but I never got around to reading about his life.

Doesn't seem to be in my copy of the book - there are a few of Viesturs and Fisher but none with belaying. If you're eager to find it, Viesturs seems pretty active on Instagram, he might be able to find it for you.

I'd highly recommend reading Ed Viesturs' account of his ascent of K2 - "K2: Life and Death on the World's Most Dangerous Mountain", it also details the history of K2 mountaineering, amazing read.
