So, why not just pay to Cassandra's authors for a quick fix? Because they can't?

Let me guess - the problem is about the difference between theory and practice. In theory, Java is great and Cassandra is great. In practice - Java under a heavy load is a disaster, because it was never designed for it, and Cassandra is a j

What a shitty headline and article itself. The much better idea to consider is that people are re-creating (re-constructing) their traumatic memories again and again, unable (or unwilling in some part) to let them go. So, what they get is a

OK, define char. If it is a type built-in C - then of course sizeof(char) = 1. And there is no reason to write such posts. The problem is people are confusing the definition and the usage, because this particular type "char" was supposed to

It is just a bit harder to recognize words written in caps. When we're reading, we aren't recognizing each character and then combining them unconsciously into a word and then you comprehend it. We just recognize the words at once, and stop

If a char is to be defined as number from 0 to 255 that and its storage space is exactly 1 byte - that is correct. But it is rather a legacy nowadays. No one should use it.

The obvious idea (for admins) is to convert the setup to nginx + php 5.3.3 in fpm-mode + eaccelerator. (fpm patches are already part of the php distribution as from 5.3.2) There are millions of step-by-step tutorials for these keywords. If
