>If the item is $4.00, then after tax it is $4.56, which rounds down to $4.55. Everybody who lived the transition to the Euro knows that this is not what will happen. Prices will be always rounded up.

It's not like the UK is a paragon of freedom of expression.

They probably were already using 10 for something else when they decided to use 25.

100.64.whatever was defined in 2012, which is like yesterday in internet terms. Hamachi is much older than that.

Very very rarely, and only when it is obvious. I could live without it, I'd say.

At least here in Spain very bad red or white wine which is used exclusively for cooking comes in cartons.

There actually are serious problems in India that aren't self inflicted.

But this doesn't work on Chrome right?

The wsl brings you the advantages of Linux without the disadvantages.

by bzb3 6y ago
I remember trying to use wsl1 for WordPress development; it was so slow most pages would time out and I couldn't do anything.

Honestly, I really hope they don't release another VR exclusive game ever again.

I admit I've never used signal for chatting (since no friends of mine have it) but just browsing the menus on Android and iOS left me with a bad taste in my mouth. Everything looked and felt very amateurish.

I've heard that kind of argument before and the usual recommendation is a setup that costs hundreds of dollars. Basically, it's gatekeeping.

You'll get old too...

I meant that by the time you notice the led, if you do, the picture was already taken and probably sent over the wire.
138.
by bzb3 6y ago
The alternative, the led, is not that good. Even if it's 100% hardware controlled, just a brief flash is enough to take a picture of you.

by bzb3 6y ago
Maybe so, but it doesn't benefit either platform.

They are CSGO ranks. Use Google to find the full list.

Prime is not 99% cheater free at all. I'd say you'll find a cheater in one out of three matches at least. And one cheater is enough to ruin a match, which lasts around and hour. It's an appalling experience.

How's the CSU authoritarian? That's like throwing expletives around; you might as well call them Nazis and get it over with.
143.
by bzb3 6y ago
And let's not forget how CSGO feels abandoned and eaten by cheaters. VAC is practically useless and they've avoided writing or licencing a proper anti cheat engine.

This is very sad but I share your sentiment. Thanks for having the courage to write this comment.

Practically all activities that are legal and protected are surveiled in one way or the other precisely to make sure they stay within the confines of legality.

There are lots of ways apps can run arbitrary code, so stopping them via the app store is not feasible. Myself I'm happy my phone is safer.

The list of tor nodes is public, and many sysadmins simply import it without thinking much about it. Even though they should only ban exit nodes.
148.
by bzb3 6y ago
You're allowed, but you will be blacklisted by many services... I also agree that it shouldn't be a problem if you're not an exit node, but that's the way it works.

If many people flag a post or a comment, it disappears, pending moderator action. Which is a bit unfair if the wrong title was a honest mistake.

Surprising. I didn't know this construct and I would naturally assume that the else part would execute if the loop never spun (because the list/etc was empty)
