there's good difficult, the one that forces you to clarify your point, and there's bad one: the one that makes simple constructs hard or impossible without going through hoops. From my understanding, rust has a little bit of both.

really surprised by that news. I had the feeling that beside large tech companies trimming down developers after unreasonnable hiring spree, the demand was still strong... I keep hearing about how hard it is to find good backend engineers f

i think you must be confused. The only real war happening right now is led by russia on the ukrainian territory. What the west is doing is taking anti-war measures to actually make it stop.

I’m having a super hard time understanding why you’d want a native app require 100% connectivity. When the app feels like (or is) a web app, then at least the user understands intuitively that nothing is going to survive connection loss.

My 2 cents : In an ecosystem like this you may want to have businesses build extensions or plugins that they'd sell. GPL has this reputation of spreading to everything it touches, and as such would scare them away.

I think there must be some kind of maximum gap between the cheapest and the most expensive price in order for the market to work. Especially in something as essential as energy. The decision to combine all kinds of electricity under a singl

To me that’s the red flag. That an experienced game developer wasn’t able to properly troubleshoot down to the correct level, but ended up facing a black box and gave up.

Rules for this market are a lot more complex than a straightforward producer / consumer one though. That give a lot of room for biased / non-optimal behaviors For example, only gaz-based electricity producers « needs » to be paid
