Yes indeed, it's roughly a 20 minute drive from us so we'll go there if we're heading to/from somewhere on I-40.

Love these sorts of places, the Redneck BBQ Lab by us is attached to a gas station and serves some pretty good BBQ. Always a nice thing to find a restaurant like that.

Arch completely broke systemd-boot after a recent update for me on my laptop. After spending half a day trying to figure out how to get it put itself back in to the loader.conf I just put Windows 11 on the laptop. My girlfriend uses the lap

That doesn't seem to be the norm here and we're pretty lax on emissions testing requirements. It was a bigger issue in California when I was in the car scene there than anywhere else i've lived. And their emissions are strict

This is a normal, yearly cycle in San Diego. I lived nearby to Qualcomm in the Mira Mesa area and it was well known then (5 years ago or so) to avoid working there due to these layoffs.

How does this compare to FoundryVTT? I use that for self hosting online sessions and it's been amazing. Will definitely check this out!

We're only 500+ days in to what the Russians planned a few weeks to take. This is clearly going fine. But it is good fun to see these shit takes from people, carry on.

I don't know where you live but I cannot buy a guy by just showing up. They take ID, they require a license and still run a check. The only exception is when you get your CCW which removes the license per handgun (not long gun/sho

No they're preempting someone coming along and claiming this. Haven't seen it in the replies yet but there's typically one (or a lot in some cases) person(s) claiming ChatGPT will bring Jesus back from the dead sort of thing.

Not sure by bt4u's comment is dead, but I've had that exact situation happen to me. Been accused of trying to steal a child while taking my son to the playground. It is an actual thing and it sucks.

I forget it now, but I believe we pay an extra flat $30/yr for our "NC Aquariums" plate. The price is the same regardless of which optional design you get and the fee goes to the cause on the plate.
