I do this as well. Act Runner is great, too, if you want CI. It can be finicky, but I'm running it on a Pi4, so not the best setup for that.

Party? Probably not. However, it would favor the working class as not everyone can take a day to go to the polls. It also helps the elderly, medically fragile, and others who otherwise have trouble getting to the polls. Nevermind the voters

If there was no vendor lock in, you'd only need one key, no?

Just aheads up, one should be using uBlock Origin, not uBlock. In short, AdBlock now owns the old uBlock https://ublockorigin.com/ https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock https://en.m.wikipedia.or

This is true. I know the change wasn't just DEI, but I thought it might have been the biggest push. And yeah, after it's gone we will see how much it helped (or not), or other influences will muddy the data and we'll never re

Oh ok, that makes sense. I can agree with that. Given that, I worry the number of women will stagnate or decrease without it, which, imho, would be a detriment to the industry.

If DEI was only marketing, why has the number and proportion of women in tech been increasing over that time? I'm not trying to challenge you, I'm just curious if you have any insight. ETA: and do you think that number will increa

Tbf, if you're lucky, there is web.archive.org and others like it, but yes, situations like those are common and disappointing.

How is fandom shitty now? I'm asking from a newer user perspective. What did standalone wikis do better? My initial guess is ads, but is there more to it?

How would that work without a homogenious setup? Won't all devices need to be with Apple or Microsoft (etc)? Or is there a standard/cross platform solution?

Isn't it also a problem for breeders? I would think pollenation could cause issues for indoor as well as outdoor crops, especially specific strain breeding and understanding pollenation patterns would help mitigate some of that.

This was a fascinating read! I truly enjoy deep dives into the relics of the early(ier) years. I'm curious if there exists a virtual machine for the Tektronix 4404, I think it'd be fun to tinker with devices like those in software

I currently have moat passwords synced with firerox. If I lose or break a device currently, I can restore from another, synced, device. If while using passkeys I lose or break my device, then what?

Chicken and egg. People need to also host on F-Droid to pull more users to F-Droid. Eventually if enough momentum is built towards F-Droid, dropping Google Play wouldn't be too much of an issue. Granted this is a really long longshot,
