Sounds oddly similar to a database deadlock. Wonder who the optimizer will select as the victim. But that's what happens when you put all your manufacturing in one large transaction.

I don't disagree with you actually. I believe that building codes generally keep us safer and create a better standard of house. Most people don't want to become test subjects for an experimental technology. My point is just that

Yeah basically this. Trying to build an eco-structure or even a mostly earthen home in the US you are basically relegated to a sparsely populated counties or taking your chances squatting on Federal land. This was quite eye-opening to me on

Started as a /b/tard circa '08 and now read mostly /pol/ and /lit/ because their threads most often follow an argument to its completion. This makes for good reading IMO. Still go back to /b/ occ

Prices have been steadily rising on MTG cards for several years. It was hard to find a loser in the past 2-4 years if all you did was buy boxes and sell them a year or two later. People are looking for anything that holds value to put their

I mean the US is going to shit, but it's important to ask: "Compared to what?" Our demographical outlook is actually much better than any other developed nation. China's economy is based on the export of manufacturing go

BTC generally goes to where electricity is cheapest in order to mine efficiently. In some cases, this electricity would otherwise be wasted if it wasn't being used to mine crypto. So the actual additional electricity being generated i

Woah, this was a good read. I had no idea average people outside of Western countries were so restricted from the global marketplace. This is a system designed to keep you all poor. I am beginning to think that there is no tool more importa

I find the whole line of reasoning in the xkcd comic quite amusing when it comes from crypto 'shorters'. Admittedly, I am on the 'long' side when it comes to crypto and decentralization. Suppose your government actually

I like this solar panel idea as you might be able to cover quite a bit of thrust energy required. Batteries add a lot of extra mass however, perhaps this would only be functional for day-time flight and then switching over to a chemical fue
