I just read the README and it looks like boot is Clojure centric, not ClojureScript. And it is a build tool where figwheel hooks into a ClojureScript build tool and send code changes to the browser. But it looks like boot could be a good f

Good point. But I'll say that with React and ClojureScript you can make a very large code base where all the components manage their lifecycles in a way that is completely reloadable with little effort going into thinking about reloada

Good question! And I have to first say that I haven't used light table a lot. But from my experience Light Table has what I will call REPL based interactivity. You choose which sections of code to have compiled and then evaluated in

We should make people program without Firebug every now and then and so they can experience the pain we went through.

Thanks for the tip. That was my first screen cast. I went through like 7 iterations eventually I just threw the towel in. Yeah the whole sine-wave function thing takes to long. Next time I will paste stuff like that in.

I agree with your statement whole heartedly. There are trade-offs to everything. I hope that you don't think I am claiming to have solved the housing issue. I am simply offering an "alternative" alternative structure. But

The door is in the last photo at the top of the post. It is essentially a round door that functions much the way cooler lid functions. There is a wood frame to support the opening in the structure.

This is definitely a consideration and a trade off. I don't advocate having a wood stove in this structure. I haven't done any tests for air quality. The polystrene isn't exposed that much on the interior. But this is a real

Please read the post. My post is essentially a response to the many problems of building domes.

If you have lots of snow, then I would advise a sparse frame , imagine an outline of octagons and pentagons but not the internal triangles, more insulation would also be required.

The R value for two layers of blueboard foam is 7.5 plus the r value of the corrugated plastic. But the structure is pretty darn tight and the shape tends hold heat much better than I expected. You can always add more insulation layers and

Well a really interesting thing is that the channels approach helped me "discover" the queue approach that you are mentioning. As I worked on the channel examples I kept seeing the equivalent Js patterns that would make a more fun

Wether they are hard or not. They seem to confound developers as the edge cases of shared mutable state stack up. Core.async is offering another way to express solutions to complex behavior and is certainly worth investigating. I would sa
