Good catch! And even if we do add another "%c" to fix it, I don't know why we would need to null-terminate a null-terminated string.

The blog post makes interesting points but it's just an argument without data. Studies like this one[1] seem to show that skipping breakfast and eating late do correlate with negative outcomes. [1]: http://www.forbes.com

That was fun to read. Why do you need a terminating null (juz)?

Agreed. I initially felt the website was nice enough but it seems to be putting off some people. The video for their kickstarter campaign was also very interesting: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VmvoU9cRzn4 According to t

I have always heard that skipping breakfast is bad while eating a small dinner is good[1]. Isn't this diet doing the exact opposite? [1]: http://circ.ahajournals.org/content/128/4/337.abstract?sid=6...

`set -o vi` allows us to use `vi` bindings instead of the default `emacs` bindings. The way to think about it is that the prompt starts out in `vi insert mode` so whatever we type in will just be inserted at the prompt. However, we can hit

I am not sure exactly how github is set up but there is a simple way of limiting the impact of duplicate files: use hardlinks. `git clone` uses hardlinks when possible so if the fork is on the same filesystem, it should limit duplication au

"The Gods Themselves" is a easy to read but truly mind blowing book. Asimov's characters are a bit wooden but the ideas in the book really got me to look at the world differently. The line "I have an idea, a simple idea,

Could you give some examples of the bugs you found? I would like to contribute to elm and this looks like a good place to do it.

Isn't it effectively thread-per-socket except that the switches now only happen on an async system call? The difference, I guess, is you can optimize the context switch to be very small (and have smaller thread stacks) at the cost of g

Your approach looks very interesting - the examples are definitely much easier to read and understand over most async C code I have seen. How does it work internally?
