Competition will continue to keep prices down. Just because people have a new source of income, doesn't mean they that will become more likely to buy overpriced goods.

I think in economics when somebody claims that their "predictions came true", it's usually due to luck and not the merits of their theory. You need decades of statistical evidence to support an economic theory, not the events

Does anyone else really want to see a version of Elm that compiles to React Native? Since Javascript is the de facto intermediate language of the 21st century, frameworks like React Native open a lot of doors.
