I built out a Bible semantic search engine for myself last year using qdrant and Rust. It was a really fun experience, qdrant is solid, and Andrey was a nice guy to work with.

On the list of gums that give me a headache, it's aspartame on the ingredients list. Believe me, I check. :)

That stuff gives me migraines. I can't even chew most gum without a headache because it's full of it.

Intelligence isn't a factor of just speed, but open-mindedness. A willingness to look at something from every angle and solve with a unique solution. This is my big gripe with the intellectual crowd - because they want to be smart sole

Not everything needs massive amounts of speed. Most projects benefit the more from a good price, good ecosystem, and low power consumption.

It'll be nice to be able to buy them again hopefully. I'm not paying scalpers $145 for a Pi 4.

Since the general public doesn't seem to be interested in God anymore, we can start with the data and go from there. For example - fatherlessness creates more violent individuals and the data proves it, let's fix that.

More importantly - we could also try to fix the division and culture issues that stirs up the violence, but for separate reasons, no-one wants to do that either. Interestingly we'd rather make people impotent than good.

Seems a lot of people feel the way you do. I had to make something using swift once, and could barely find a community to help me decipher the cryptic swift documentation centered around their coreml library. Apple is keeping Swift on life

I think the primary discussion is more about using the word "enshittening" over a word like "degeneration" than adding dashes.

You can call it self-censorship if you want, I call it defending dignity. Mastering yourself is a virtue, not a vice.

Yup, they did that to our team too. Calling my coworker during the evening, emailing me and messaging me on LinkedIn at the same time. When I said "no thanks" they replied with a message to set up a meeting. Went from a maybe some

If they could implement this on an open protocol, that'd be great too. The last thing I need is some proprietary cloud service that goes down twice a month to start my car. But what would be even better is just enabling a password.
