Sounds so much more realistic than putting up new lines. I imagine that replacing the conductors doesn't need environmental review and NIMBYs can't go to court to stop an existing project.

The website and manual mention "10 groups of scrambled voice encryption". They don't specify what this is actually doing. I've always wondered what it would take to make a really good encrypted coms system using one of t

Worse than the chart crime of truncating the y axis is putting LLaMa2's Human Eval scores on there and not comparing it to Code Llama Instruct 70b. DBRX still beats Code Llama Instruct's 67.8 but not by that much.

Break use on my EV is about once per trip. I have to stop after backing up and that seems to need the breaks. Honestly not sure if that's just a bad habit at this point or of regen doesn't work in reverse.

That makes sense and I was wondering if it might be related to the device temp. I should have tried putting a hot pack on the sensor to validate.

I did this for fun using the veri.co service. It was interesting how little my diet immediately affected my blood sugar. Non diet things were much bigger. Do hard exercise -> spike. Take a hot shower -> spike. Fast for 48 hours ->

I really love native apps, but I'm stuck using VS code for now. It just kills me to see how much power goes to blinking the cursor in VS code. I tried Zed for a bit but couldn't make it work. I loved that its so light weight and f

The market decided on this already. There were Samsung phones with replaceable batteries and they stopped making them. Samsung didn't stop selling them because people wanted replaceable batteries more than the phones without.

Elon's antics and politics are causing problems. IMHO the politics don't change Tesla huge lead in the EV space. Seems like people are conflating their hatred of Elon with Teslas potential as a company. None of the other car maker
