I was wondering about this too. Setting aside DNS over HTTPS, I can't see it either. Will every router in the EU do L4 switching to rewrite traffic to port 53? Assuming it can even be pulled off, I can only see if failing badly.

Why do people, especially developers, give Microsoft the time of day with this? Life is to short to give a shit about them, their crappy software, and their bad moderation policies? Vote with your wallet and get the fuck off Windows and all

They only seem to be interested in French cheese. What a pity... There are so many great non-French cheeses...

Indeed -- it still amazes me how a decent form of national health care is such an anathema for a lot of people in the US. Most of us Europeans simply don't need to worry about health insurance at all with the likes of the NHS in the UK

I have a couple of dumb questions: I use reading glasses. Would I need to wear them inside the headset? I dot lots of video conferencing. How would I appear in a zoom or msteams call with this on?

+1 for Factorio -- this is a great game -- highly addictive, although I found the battle part really annoyed me, and much preferred to play it in creative mode only.

try Fedora on it and see if these issues still persist. It can't hurt and may aid in troubleshooting.

Manjaro! It gives you the best of Arch without the tinkerers overhead... I've used RHEL, Debian/Ubuntu, Slackware, et al, and Manjaro, for a laptop, is hands-down the best developer distro out there IMHO.

This. And having done so for so many years, the process becomes automatic, and the time required to execute it mere nanoseconds.

I met him as a schoolboy when he came to give a talk at our school. This would've been late 80s. He told the story of the "Blaloon" seller and that the red, yellow, blue, "blaloons" all had the same stuff inside. Hi

You want to stick to tech that doesn't need a VPC in my experience -- as soon as your Lambda's are VPC-bound things gets messy and slow.
