How does this not have any comments? I work on a team that is 90% on visas, mostly Chinese and Indian but some Canadians too. Everyone acts like this on my team. If they don’t, their visa can be terminated, as can mine. We can’t connect as

What can force an interest rate rise? Right now I can’t afford a house and would love to know the conditions that would increase interest rates.

I don’t think that it’s that they misunderstand. I think that it’s because they make more money by making it divisive and emotion driven.

I’ve been noticing a number of similar articles on HN recently. Exploring why men aren’t interested in working seems to be in vogue.

The tone of this article feels very different to the words she’s saying.

So in your mind because I’ve had unsatisying relationships and I’m fit then I must be gay? I had to laugh.

Agreed, the online dating scene isn't for everyone. However if you don't have interests that have women in it how do you meet them genuinely?

I feel you. I'm 31 and am exactly the same way with women. It's lead to the exact same conclusions as you - a lack of self confidence in a wide variety of situations. This turns into overcompensation and having bad interactions. T

I agree, I'd be over the moon to experience a relationship that is rewarding, stress leaving and healthy. It's down to me to work out why I find relationships to be so exhausting. Thank you.

To be honest a lot of my interests and work are heavily male oriented. I could do things that have a different male/female skew but to do things just to meet women seems disingenuous and energy wasting to me.

I can see how this is true. The most successful relationship I've had is with another software engineer. We were both passionate about our work and could share a lot of our experiences.

I know that there's a few people who disagree with the article but I found it hit close to home. I'm a young(ish) guy that's tall, fit and has a great career that pays well. On a (superficial level at least) I have a lot goin

I agree with you. Most people are not making false accusations. There are a small group of people who will destroy other people to advance themselves. These are the people you have to protect yourself from.

Here’s an interesting thought experiment. What happens if this continues? Women become increasingly excluded as management avoid them to protect themselves. As a result less women go into/stay in the workforce. Chances are they can’t p

This guy sounds like he has more dollars than sense. He’s made many foolish investments as stated in the archive link another user mentioned. But what can I judge. He’s rich I’m not.

While I quite enjoy Jordan Peterson’s work I’m not sure that this belongs on HN. It doesn’t go against the guidelines I suppose but it still feels out of place to me.

I have to disagree with the high-paying work statement. I moved from Melbourne to the USA because I hit a salary ceiling. Just over 100k AUD is not that much compared to west coast salaries.
