Hi and welcome to HN. Could you clarify some things? - what do you mean by data intensive requests? - what caused you to look into HTTP2 in the first place?

Could you give us an example of the problems you're not getting answered? We might be able to give you tips to get it answered without needing rep points.

I know very little about the DOM so please take this with a grain of salt. Perhaps someone can correct anything wrong I say: Changing values/adding nodes/removing nodes in a DOM isn't the expensive bit. The expensive part is

TBH I don't really think there's a market in mobile apps. They're expensive and most groups don't see the need for an app. If you find a group that needs an app then you've got your niche. Anything that requires d

Software engineering has huge skill variability. C++ is particularly difficult IMO. I've seen such a large difference in ability on the interviewer side. In a three tier interview process per 100 people: 60 fail the 15 minute phone scr

I really hope that the devs actions don't become a common occurrence. If the dev asked YouTube to take down all content that had his games in it I think it would be okay. To target just one user because of a word that he said non malic

Okay, I'm going to play devil's advocate here. What if this was legal? It could be an alternative way to pay for website costs. We get rid of ads and replace it with a client side miner.

Very in depth article! I can see the author put a lot of effort into doing this. You could create a business and charge quite well for a service like this.

I believe we can reduce the amount of waste work by doing deliberate practice. This means really analysing what you did and how it could be better. Also doing a small amount of work each day is much better than a large amount once a week. T

As far as I understand the larger companies have a clear trajectory for promotion in software engineering. There's no limited places. Prove you have skills a, b and c and you get promoted.

I'm not really sure what you're trying to achieve with this comment. In saying that I am curious as to why the GP is looking for females specifically in the team.

Thanks for making these points explicit. Years experience is not an indicator of seniority. I have two friends that graduated at different years. One has more than 10 years experience. The other has three years. 10 year guy has been working

Would you be able to expand on this? I think the reason your comment is being downvoted is because you haven't backed up your opinion with anything.

Thanks guys for a solid piece of software. After using ST for five years I felt like I should probably purchase a licence :) I feel guilty for not doing it sooner.

Releasing three tiers of iPhone at once is a bold move. (8, Plus, X) I figured the reason why they made the 8 and X was because of supply issues. Release the 8s first because our supply chain is good for them. Some people just want the 8. O

Thank you for expressing this. Our usual news providers are mostly biased. What I'd love is to see a tool that allows you to see fact from opinion and the ability to see multiple perspectives. In Australia there's a government run
