How much time are you spending on the marketing aspect of Yonkly? If you aren't and started spending an hour or two a day -- seriously attacking it, you might be able to get ramen profitable quickly. For instance, the site doesn't quickly d

What you are seeing is "drive by committee" that is so cancerous in companies. Are you seriously telling me that not one soul at Apple has thought, "Well, silly us, we are making enough money that we can regularly run AppStore commercials o

So what is my tax rate if I go from $249,999 to $250,000? How much money in real dollars do I lose when I earn a buck more to make it to a quarter million?

Agreed -- and then gave suggestions below. Perfect! I immediately started coming up with ways I could use it on a couple projects I'm working on. I hope all purveyors of webapps will use this as a shining example of a demo well done.

I think it's very very cool of Google to allow apps in their system for free as long as they stay below a specific threshold. There is no excuse now not to rapidly prototype apps and throw them out there.

I think it's in Microsoft's best interests to build a browser at this level. You just can't get the performance you need for some applications through the proxy of a browser. Sometimes you just need to touch the metal.

Bringing in someone who doesn't have years of experience is going to bite you later on. (I say this from experience: I was co-founder of a tech company in '99 and I simply didn't have the experience to build the foundation cleanly.) These f
