I dunno, where was your cruise and were there lots of mainland Chinese people on it? Sadly the symptoms for CoVid-19 are pretty common across a variety of diseases, so “flu-like but not flu” doesn’t necessarily point to this. At that time d

Interesting! I hadn't heard of HSLuv. The original writeup / blog post [1] seems more informative though on "why" (hsluv.org is not a very interesting landing page). I'm a little sad (disclosure: co-author) that we

Like everyone here, “Yes, the history is super useful”. So, I’m curious about fixing the actual problem. What happened in the CVS => SVN migration? You don’t have 30-years of SVN history. Do you have an SVN mirror / backup for which

Vlado mentioned at SIGGRAPH, that they basically gave up and has gone from OpenCL => CUDA => "let OptiX handle it" => "OptiX7 w/ RTX". Do you have a CUDA and/or RTX comparison? P.S. It's awesome y

I do think that on a personal level, it was probably just more hand washing, the masks to prevent droplets and so on (that is, both groups could have done so, but the infectious disease experts are more likely to do so with every interactio

I find Eli Bendersky’s writeup [1] more useful as it actually goes closer to the details. For readers less familiar, it also makes it more clear what the time spent will depend on (how much state there is to copy). Eli’s post is actually a

This sadly isn’t true. Nearly all trip cancellation insurance excludes epidemics and pandemics. You need instead “cancel for any reason” insurance, which you can only acquire about 2-3 weeks after your first purchase. Now, if the event is c

Glad you found a workaround, but please file a support ticket for this. If you don’t have support: (a) consider it and/or (b) send me an email with your info (contact in profile) and I’ll file a bug.

The blocker here would be the need for supporting nested on AMD parts (as E2 can choose between Intel and AMD parts).

We do not yet support AMD's nested implementation (we do on Intel). But cvallejo is also the PM for Nested :). As for 224, we've always reserved threads on each host for I/O and so on. Figure 2 from the Snap paper [1] is
