It's sad that no one has mentioned Pushbullet. Is a small app that notifies you when things happen, and you can set it to notify RSS news, it also integrates with IFTTT and has a bunch of other features. You should check it out. Edit:

I don't think that would be too much trouble, you can find fully custom widget toolkits with excellent performance and seamless OS integration (check blender or UE4 for example)

I've been using Language Server to learn rust while coming back to ST after using VSCode extensively. Have you tried using a LSP extension instead of a TypeScript one?

There is clang-format, which comes even with clang for windows, I use it with a Visual Studio extension and it formats the code whenever I save. I even prefer that sometimes I have the whitespace messed, but just having the braces right wil

Unreal didn't invent its own shading model. Instead Unreal and a bunch of other game engines now use what is called PBR (work on this started in Pixar before game engines) I think the possible explanation on why they may look different

Two years ago I was looking for a distro that I'd love, after testing a few I decided on Arch, I liked it's approach for learning how the system works. But one year ago I got tired of it, I wanted a distro that was easy to set up
