Okay — but in practice, channels on YouTube and Facebook merely mentioning COVID have to resort to euphemisms due to the extreme censorship. So your claim they “stay away from” controversial or genuinely disputed topics is plain wrong: they

The ship is moving. The bow moves water out of the way when it moves forward and the stern vacates space which the water fills. So water is going away from the bow (positive pressure) but towards the stern (negative pressure). When a ship t

The gap is even smaller if you think of channels like ProtoCooks with Chef Frank, where the chef they got for meme cooking videos (an actual culinary instructor) has his own fun-to-watch channel. https://www.youtube.com/watc

It’s just casual misandry. The misandrists are thinking the only reason men would be concerned with damage to their bodies due to chemicals is because men have “toxic masculinity”. Misandry is popular in some circles.

Right, I understand the theory. What I’m saying is striping out “mom” work into “preschool”, “restaurant”, and “laundromat” leads to inefficiencies that don’t come back at scale — for most families. Rich families have always had maids, etc.

I really want to see how the US being the richest is calculated. Not that I doubt it, but simple metrics like GDP per capita have obvious problems. For one, if two women instead of taking care of their own families take care of the others f

Yes — Amazon is rolling out a test gossip network on their latest generation Echos. One of my Echos shared the WiFi password with the other. I also think separate VLANs could be better (setup is a mess), but using them is pretty easy: you j

You partition devices by class into VLANs and give different VLANs different features. Lightbulbs live on a different part of the network than your bathroom OnlyFans setup, which you should probably use Ethernet for. The lightbulb doesn’t h

I’m curious what you mean. Wouldn’t a class of universal approximators necessarily include some intelligent ones — for any measure of intelligence? There’s obvious scaling issues, though.
