It's sad to see the downfall of R. I still use R a lot interactively, but Python takes at least 50% of the share. R had a good run, and IMO they still have some packages that are just too good to see it languishing into the future, not

What is next? Old people suing young people if they fail to work enough to keep their pensions afloat? Absolutely banana republic level decision. Courts going beyond their customary boundaries is a bad idea for a democratic system stability

Still surprising to see a poorly written piece of text. You'd think Nubank's comm leadership would have an extensive language background in English.

Certainly in North America it is very hard to develop your company into a big business without engaging in some cronyism. Obviously this is true. You could argue this has always been true across history though.

That is an excellent question. As usual, there are many factors that contribute to the current housing situation. On the supply side, I feel a major issue is lack of qualified workers. And I am not sure immigration can solve this problem ea

I don't know how this does not exacerbate the housing problem in Canada. It's terrible here. I own a rowhouse in a decent neighborhood of a middle-sized city in Canada. Prices have doubled since 2017. People moving to the same uni

Look at the stock market and fixed income investments around you. There is nothing there, very modest growth. That explains in part why so many people shifted part of their pile of cash to VC investments. The pile is not growing fast enough
